OmicronWorld Entertainment is scripting Gary Goshgarian's first novel, Atlantis Fire for feature film development. The project is one of our few great passions, and bringing this story to film has been a personal dream of Omicron's founder, Jason Marchi, for several years.

Goshgarian has published five novels (two under the pen name, Gary Braver), and his powerful story-telling is now being discovered by mass audiences.

Several of Gary's novels have been optioned for film development, yet none have been filmed. The talents associated with the OmicronWorld firmly believe that the ever-cautious "Hollywood" keeps missing the proverbial boat. When Hollywood finally realizes Gary's books will make great, entertaining movies (that net nice profits) they'll wonder why they'd waited so long to make them!

In fact, Atlantis Fire was almost made into a movie twenty years ago by Disney and the daughter of legendary actress, Joan Crawford.  It was up against an unknown script at the time. A script that seemed more "hip" because it was about technology.  But that was then. The resultant film, TRON, has virtually vanished today. People remember it with a weak, "Oh, yeah, that Scifi movie. It wasn't very good." And people who make this comment are dating themselves. Nobody under 24 has ever heard of the damn thing. And of those people who HAVE seen TRON, we've yet to meet a one who has ever expressed the desire to watch it a second time.

Atlantis Fire, on the other hand, is a fine character/adventure story set in the beautiful and mystical Greek islands of the Aegean sea. Atlantis Fire would make the kind of movie, that years after a successful theatrical run, people would love to watch on a rainy Sunday afternoon when there are no ball games playing.  It would make the kind of movie one would want to see -- again and again -- just pop in the DVD, grab your drink and a bowl of popcorn, and escape into adventure, suspense, and the thrill of the search for legendary Atlantis.

We can tell you, if the OmicronWorld had the money to make Atlantis Fire (and Gary's other books) into feature presentations we'd jump on it. So far our film projects have had very small budgets - $150,000 and under. We hope that will change before long.
