FERRIS
WHEEL was first developed at the Actors Studio and in Dan Lauria's Canon
Theatre in Los Angeles. Besides placing 5th in the 1998 New Century Writer
Awards, FERRIS WHEEL won Chicago's Center Theater International Play
Award, was showcased at the Chicago Dramatist, and was nominated for a
Carbonell Award in 1999 for "Best Play of the Year."
In March if 2000, FERRIS WHEEL premiered off-Broadway in New York City.
Two production companies are currently negotiating to co-produce Janyce's screenplay adaptation of the FERRIS WHEEL play entitled SCREAMING MY HEART OUT as a film for Lifetime television for women.Stay tuned for updates!
