Will Keenan in HOOFBOY

An autobiographical Tale about a young man and his feet, and the women who won’t touch them.

Will Keenan, the lead in Love God and Tromeo & Juliet, makes his directorial debut with a short mockumentalmelodrama he has written called Hoofboy. Jason Marchi both executive and co-produced for Omicron World Entertainment. Midnight Monkey Moving Pictures also co-produced. The film is a creative blend of 16 mm black & white and 5 different video techniques - from Sony DVT1000 Digital to Video 8 - with exciting special effects.

Hoofboy stars Keenan along with an ensemble cast of fine actors. These include :

Hoofboy was shot by New York based Director of Photography, William Miller. Bill was the DP of two previous Academy Award nominated films in the experimental short film category two years in a row.

Love God, produced by Good Machine, premiered at the January 1997 Sundance Film Festival to a great deal of excitement in the media for its landmark video production techniques. And a quote from Variety celebrates Will Keenan’s lead role by stating: "… And actor Keenan anchors the proceedings with an expert and appealing turn as Larue." Filmmaker Magazine called Love God "An instant cult classic."

Directed by Frank Grow, Love God traveled the world via the festival circuit, and still plays at specialty screening rooms and other film-related events.
