Verbicide #5 Spring 2002
|
Jason's short story, "When
the Rain Stops," appears in this print issue of Verbicide.
"When the Rain Stops" is a sequel to one of Ray Bradbury's most well-known stories, "All Summer in a Day", about the little girl who gets locked in a closet on eternally rainy Venus on the one day the sun shines for two just hours every seven years. "All Summer in a Day" is reprinted by the extremely generosity permission of Mr. Bradbury, and is followed by the sequel, along with a historical commentary about Bradbury's works, and an introduction explaining why the sequel was written.
